Hey Bro. Peach,
The passage I chose was exodus 20:1-17
the versus are pretty long but what the passage is about is the Ten Commandments.
What these versus say to me is that I should live my life according to the ten commandments. I actually try my best to live my life according to the ten commandments because it helps me to become a better man and sin less.
Psalm67: 1-7
"May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face shine upon us that your ways may be known on Earth, your salvation among all nations. May the peoples praise you, O God; may all the peoples praise you. May the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you rule the peoples justly and guide the nations of the Earth. May the peoples praise you O God; may all the peoples praise you. Then the land will yield its harvest and God, Our God, will bless us. God will bless us and all the ends of the earth will fear him."
I think that the meaning and truth that we can derive from this passage is that God is an almighty, divine God who doesn't abuse the power that he has. He gives us free will to make choices. This chapter of psalms indicates that "Yahweh" is a God filled with grace and love whom lets his bounty bear down upon us. He makes known his presence and everlasting salvation from the dark realm of sin by blessing the nations. All he asks in return is praise, belief, and love. This shows God as being a servant providing for mankind. It also shows him as a great king noble, strong, balanced. He strikes fear into hearts and inspires praise and worship to an everlasting God almighty over all of the Earthwhom we all see as a resemblance or "essence" of all things good as he created them. So as we appreciate life's bounty we should thank God for all he has provided.

Matthew 6:22-23
The Light of Your Body
"The eyes are like a lamp for the body. If your eyes are sound, your whole body will be full of light; but if your eyes are no good, your body will be in darkness. So if the light in you is darkness, how terribly dark it will be!"
I think the meaning of this passage is that if we don't open our eyes to the beautiful things that God has created around us, and the good we can do to keep all of it beautiful, then we will always be in darkness. Because if we don't appreciate all the gifts God has given us, what is the point of praying to God? What is the point of going to Church? What is the point of giving thanks? We have to open up our eyes to what God has made, the problems that surround them, and find a way to fix it. This is what Jesus would want us to do. To better the lives of every single living thing on this Earth and keep it that way.
Psalm 62:1-2
"Truly my soul waits silently for God; from Him comes my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved."
I chose this passage because it tells of the strength of God, and that not only is he kind and compassionate, but also as immovable as the mightiest stone.
The truth that I take from this passage is that patience, as well as strength, is essential for every christian. It is with patience that we wait, knowing that GOd will answer our prayers, but not on our time. It also says that God will never waver in his defence of his people, and always will provide foundation for our faith.

JOB Chapter 18, Verse 5
Yea, "the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall be dark in the tabernacle, and his candle shall be put out with him.
This means to me that we as Christian people shall strive to do good and follow God's word. We must be patient and wait upon God with faith, because he will get us through everyday life struggles. What is evil shall be put down by God which shall destine to be a failure. For only what is right shall shine in God's eyes. What is right shall bring success. Sometimes it is easier to do wrong than right, but we as Christian people must strive hard to do the right because wrong only leads to failure and that is not Gods wishes for his people.

Psalms 100
100:1 A Psalm of praise. Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all ye lands.
100:2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
100:3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
100:4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful to him, and bless his name.
100:5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
The first verse means were supposed to scream out loud so the whole world can hear our praises to God. The secound verse tells us we can speak and give our praise to the lord any were and just as we are. The third verse tells us you created us all as unique individuals to accomplish the goals you have set for us. The forth verse means we should give thanks to the lord for every blessing he has given to us. The fifth verse means that god we keepn his word and no matter what your going through God we never fail you.

psalms 70:2-3
"Graciously rescue me, God! come quickly to help me, Lord! confounded and put to shame those who seek my life turn back in disgrace those who desire me ruin"
I chose this passage because it shows that we always need God. It says that if someone is trying to harm us that God will always be there to help us and guide us through it. This passage also tells that even if you are very strong that you always need God's help and intervention.

PSALM 69, Verses 14-17
"But I pray to you, Lord, for the time of your favor.
God in your great kindness answer me with your constant help.
Rescue me from the mire; do not let me sink. Rescue me from my enemies and from the watery depths.
Do not let the floodwaters overwhelm me, nor the deep swallow me, nor the mouth of the pit close over me.
Answer me, Lord, in your generous love; in your great mercy turn to me."
I chose this passage because I think it relates to everybody. Sin is a very strong thing. Sometimes it is very difficult to choose the right path. Anytime you sin or defy God in any way, He will know. God knows everything. There is nothing you can hide from God. But if you ask for forgiveness, God will surely grant it. God has never ending love and forgiveness for anyone who needs their heart purified.
If you ask for the love of God, he will give it. He will help you make the right decisions through conscience. He will give you guidence and knowledge of the evils of our world. He will give you courage to stand up against your enemies.
God is open to all forms of communication. If we pray to God and live our life through His example, we will find a way out of our struggles. God will always protect us.

Psalm 16, Verses 2-7
I say to the lord, you are my lord, you are my only good.
Worthless are all the false gods of the land.
Accursed are all who delight in them.
They multiply their sorrows who court other gods.
Blook libations to them I will not pour out, nor will I take their namesmupon my lips.
Lord, my alotted portion and my cup, you have made my destiny secure. Pleasant places were measured out for me;
fair to me indeed is my inheritance.
This sripture writing is explaining that there is only one God, and if you follow him, then your future will be safe with him. At first it says that God is the only source of goodness in our lives. Then it describe all other false gods as useless and the people that worship them will not have eternal life. Plus, the longer they worship those false gods, the harder it is to break their addiction. Then the scripture ends by saying that god is gracious and give us all that we need and that what we get after death will be fair based on our life because God is just.

Proverbs Chapter 12, Verse 1
"He who loves correction loves knowledge, but he who hates reproof is stupid"
I chose this verse because it tells us that we must ask questions to expand our understanding of the world, and if we are wrong, then we must learn from our mistakes and try to better ourselves. Only then can we become smarter in mind and spirit.

Revelation 15: 13
"Happy now are the dead who die in the Lord!"
It means that if you do hard work you will spend a enternity with the Lord. Instead of the people who don't do think will not be bright in God's eyes. So it is sometimes easier to take a break than to go the extra mile to work hard and help out. You would feel happy about it.

Sirach 20:27-28
"He who speaks wisely will advance himself, and a sensible man will please great men. Whoever cultivates the soil will heap up his harvest, and whoeverpleases great men will atone for injustices.
I think that this passage means that if we speak wisely and help others with that wisdom, then we will go to heaven, and if we act sensible, we will make great men(God) happy. And those that are good and true, will find great reward(eternal life). And that those who please God will make up for those that displease God.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
Psalm 23. 1
To me it means that no matter how lost or hopeless you feel, God will always be there to help you and provide for you if you only take faith in Him.
Hey Bro Rob,
The passage I chose was Luke 6:20-23.Here it is:
"And raising his eyes toward the deciples he said:
"Blessed are you who are poor, for the kingdom of God is yours.
Blessed are you who are hungry, for you shall be satisfied.
Blessed are you who are niw weeping, for you will laugh
Blessed are when people hate you,and when they excude you and insult you,and denounce as evil on account of the son of man.Rejoice and leap for joy on that day!Behold, your reward will be great in heaven. For their ancestors treated the prophets in the same way."
What these versus mean to me is that we should all be respectful to others, and not hurt or make fun of those who are diffrent than us.We should all be unified, even if we come from diffrent religious backrounds.
Hey bro i chose was from genisis 24:1
Now Abraham was old, advanced in age; and the Lord had blessed Abraham in every way.
I chose this one because i think it shows how givig god can be even if he doesnt always give you what you want he teaches you life lessons in someway of your everyday life.
Brother Peach, the passage I chose was...
Exodus 3 and 4 when God talked to him through the burning bush and when he showed Moses his power through the walking stick.
I thought when God gave Moses the " I am who I am" speech, this told Moses that he was the one true God who was here at the beginning of time, which also shows me he is the one true God.
And the walking stick turning into a snake shows Gods power just through a small walking stick which is really coll to me.
Hosea 11:1-7
"When Israel was a child I loved him, out of Egypt I called my son.
Then more I called them, the farther they went from me, Sacraficing to the Baals and burning incense to idols.
Yet it was I who taught Ephiraim to walk, who took them in my arms.I drew them with human cords, with bands of love. I fostered them like one who raises an infant to his cheek .Yet, though I stooped to feed my child, they did not know I was their healer.
He shall return to the land of Egypt, and Aasyria shall be his king;the sword shall begin with the cities and end by consuming his solitudes.Because they refuse to repent, their own counsels shall devour them. His people are in suspense about returning to him;and God, though in unison they cry out to him, shall not raise them up"
This Bible passage means to me that we should always pray to God and try not to stray away from him because he loves us.
Isaiah 25:1
"Oh Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth."
I chose this verse because it is an example of how God should be treated and why he derserves such praise.
To me this passage means that God should be praised because of all the wonderful things he has done. It also says that the old rules are faithfulness and truth meaning we should still follow them.
Brother Rob, I chose the passage Genesis Chapter 6-9.
This passage is the story of Noah‘s ark. I chose this passage because it shows me to believe in God, even when times get rough. Noah continued to do God’s will even though he was made fun of and laughed at by his fellow peers. This passage encourages me to believe in God and to know that he is always with me.
